CPP Provides Leadership Development Program for the SFCAPC’s New Management Team

CPP Provides Leadership Development Program for the SFCAPC’s New Management Team

A New CPP Case Study: San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center

The San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center (SFCAPC) is dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, the promotion of healthy families, and the mental health of children. It provides a variety of direct services to distressed children and families, educates key members of the community on how to identify and respond to child abuse situations, and utilizes a vast partner network to promote the health of children.

The SFCAPC needed to improve communication between the executive team and the entire organization, and build trust and organizational cohesion to maximize organizational effectiveness. With rapid growth and recent organizational changes, the new leadership team needed to learn how to better function together.

Using insight from individuals’ FIRO-B®, Myers-Briggs®, CPI 260®, and TKI assessment results, the SFCAPC was able to build on its leadership confidence and organizational trust. The organization also employed a more collaborative approach to daily tasks.

Watch Executive Director Katie Albright and Director of Clinical Services, Malcolm Gaines, PsyD, of the SFCAPC, and CPP Consultant Sarita Bhakuni, PsyD, share the success they achieved in this video case study.
